Went to Best Buy to see the 3DS!!

I went to Best Buy today and saw it. First thought was it was so much smaller than i thought it was in the pics. The Circle Pad was smaller than it looked in the pics. I imagined it would fit my entire thumb perfectly but it was still so comfortable felt like it wasn't even there like an extension of my fingers.

So I first saw the 3D effect from the side and at a distance is really made my eyes hurt. when my friend finally moved I looked at it and it took a while to adjust to see the 3D effect but after that it looked amazing. i was mostly confused by it cause I think i had to get use to it, but it felt like the game was unreal. like it shouldn't be that way. but that wasn't a bad thing. I looked at it in 2D and it looked like how i wanted it to look and everything felt right in the world but when I turned the 3D on I was blown away as if I couldn't believe this was really happening.

As soon as I looked away the real world looked kinda confussled but it went back to normal after I closed my eyes for 5 secs. but when I went back to look at the 3DS again I found the Sweet spot instantly and this was after only have 4 mins with the system my eyes seemed to adjust rather quickly. (Thank Gawd) I did try out te Pilot Wings Demo didn't really care for it I mainly went back to the title screen and looked at the scenery and stuff. The game title floated in the front of the mountains as if they were so far off, like you were on a plane and seen it from far away. As I flew towards a cave I could see around the corner, through the cave, and judge distance but as soon as I turned off the 3D it looked flat.

I will go back cuz I was with 3 of my friends so I didnt pay much attention to it and quickly moved on to the Xbox Kinect (Never tried one). But in the sort 10 mins I had with it, it was amazing beyond believe. next time I will take the time to appreciate it more and look at the outside and notice how the buttons feel.

thats cool... its certainly amazing to see how far we have come from my old gameboy - that thing was awesome... tetris FTW!!!
