htc wildfire android 2.2.1

hey everyone hope someone can help cos i dunno what to do....
i bought a telstra HTC Wildfire got it network unlocked as i am with vodafone sorted out all the internet settings from the forums here and it was working great, until i downloaded the android 2.2.1 version now i cant get on the internet with the same settings i had before. I hit the connect to internet button and its just forever stuck on connecting.... any suggestions??? cheers oi oi oi

I am assuming you've done all the usuals like rebooting, factory resetting?

You can try and remove the APN's and then re-add them.
Also, make sure "Use Packet Data" is ticked in the mobile networks settings menu.

Hi I have a HTC wilfire running on 2.2.1 also. My internet didn't work so called vodafone and they gave me some settings to put into the phone and internet works fine. mms doesn't seem to work yet though. They said I can tak it into a vodafone shop and they can do a software flash (take of all the softwear and re-load different vf friendly android sofwear onto the fone.) which means the annoying next g screen will go away.
