Nexus One dilemma
So I currently have (and still have) an Android Developer Phone 1 (which is essentially a HTC Dream/G1) and have been waiting a while for a "popular" (i.e. - supported by the community) Snapdragon/QWERTY combo phone. Unfortunately, this has not come to light (there's been a few announcements, i.e. Motorola Droid 2 (which I think will take a while to be released/importable, plus a LG one, but none that I think will be "big").
Andy Rubin (Google Engineer VP) mentioned that the next version of the nexus one could have a physical keyboard. My G1/Dream/ADP1 is starting to feel quite obsolete, so I don't know If I can hold out for such an announcement.. tempted to buy a normal Nexus One. But if they announce it soon (say early Jan, a year after the N1 was announced), then I'm shooting myself in the foot! What should I do? Opinions? |

RE: Nexus One dilemma
With both the Droid X & Droid 2 going to Verizon, it kills the idea of any of them being the "Nexus Two".
You might have to wait it out for the Milestone 2 or Samsung Galaxy S Pro. Hmm

RE: Nexus One dilemma
Tthe Google branding is a major advantage for the Nexus One, Nexus One are brothers Many people new to the smart phone game don't actually realise that Android is Google's own developed OS,Desire looks great With root and Cyanogen I'm sure it would be awesome However, if it is substantially more expensive than the Nexus then it's not for every common users,Although the Google Nexus One the design is slightly different,Both the Google Nexus One.
