SIM Card issues with Optus ZTE V9

SIM Card issues with Optus ZTE V9
I desperately need some help ... have a second hand optus tablet ZTE V9 (which was working and is unlocked) but after being "factory reset" the device won't regonise the Optus pre-paid sim card.

The device is running Android version 2.3.4.

I have gone into settings / Wireless & network settings ... there is no VPN settings currently set up and the "Mobile network" is shaded out (can't be selected).

Please help ...

Seems like you got a similar problem as me maybe?

What sort of Pre Paid Card are you trying? The one that came with the tab or just an Optus Pre Paid SIM like me. BTW, I am on $2 days which gives unlimited internet access.

I know Optus well and they really try to milk customers for as much money as they can. They are very good at doing that and that is what I believe they are now trying to do to us.

What is the story with this Tab??? Will it now only work with the official SIM that came with the TAB?

BTW, I also have had mine unlocked. Maybe I can try a different SIM.
