Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Should I get a Macbook pro 13" or an iPad 2?
Around the 26th of this month I plan on purchasing either a Macbook Pro or an iPad 2, my current laptop is breaking down after five years. I go to the University of Texas which is massive and I also take the Bus for an hour long ride to and from it. I mostly want it to listen to music, browse the web, take notes, review power point and watch movies, maybe play games. I tried typing with the iPad 2 and I like it and the battery power is better but the Mac Book Pro has more memory and more software capabilities. Side note this will be my first Mac computer/iPad. Also am considering a solid state drive on the MBP money is not a problem as I see it as an investment and I will get any necessary software or accessories i.e. Magic Mouse, Smart Cover etc. Thanks

I removed it for him. but i think its a bot. who comes to an android forum and asks about 2 apple products?
