Adjusting Vibration

My daughter has a Galaxy S2 and she wants to adjust the vibration. She wants it to still vibrate but to be able to make it less intense.

Phone wakes her up during the night - even when it's elsewhere in the room.

when Galaxy S2 set on vibration mode and put on charging it automatically switch to loud ring made.

if you change the haptic feedback does that do anything for the main vibrate?

the only other thing i can thing of is XDA or putting it on something soft at night
