I am very tempted to get this rom as I have heard so many great things about his previous mods. I might just wait till htc release their 2.2 rom though as it should be a way of getting rid of the Telstra crap then.

gahhh. i got my telstra desire a few months ago and as it is my first smart phone i am completely over the moon about it. i love htc sense and everything about the phone, but as there is so much more to be discovered, ive tried this rooting business, but with no luck. im not a complete novice with comptuers and can follow instructions quite well, but for the life of me i cant root the thing thus missing out on all these awesome roms floating around.

just wondering if you can give me some pointers, or links or what ever.

ive tired the one that was posted here a while back but was getting error Remote: 43 version check fail.
