HTC Desire HD is also a Vodafone AU exclusive.

Hope an exclusive means VF will give us much more competitive pricing.
Like when Optus first introduced the Samsung Galaxy S on the $49 Cap.

In that sense hope VF will be the first to offer it on a $29 cap. Maybe a year down the track but will be the primary deal-breaker for me.

Wished a Vodafone CEO was reading this and felt generous to offer it on the $29 cap to me now.

$29 cap is far far too low. $50 at least in my opinion. It is rare that any phone will be properly and fully supported with a 24 month plan. Every phone runs its line, and even this next gen Desire HD will soon be outdone by a new 2GHz phone or something similar.
