So Lucas was thinking of doing a Podcast and asked me if I'd join in, and I think it's a pretty cool idea, even if I'm not much of a talker!

I was just wondering what you guys thought, would you be interested in a Podcast? If so, on what subjects/topics technology wise. I'm thinking just Mobile Devices (Smartphones, Tablets, ra ra ra) as that's mainly all I know, but I'm open to anything Smile

I think it would be a great idea! And yeah i would only be interested in Mobile Devices so you should just stick with that.

I agree, Mobile Devices would definitely be the main component of the Podcast, unless of course a major tech news story happened, like Google went bankrupt or brought Apple or something - not that those will happen hahahaha. Prodominatly it would be a Mobile Devices Podcast.

We just need to find a name Smile

yeah i think its a really great idea, and maybe you can throw in some stuff that has to do with australia if its big tech news. Like if stephen conroy is killed by the scams and spams that come through the portal.
how often would you do it?

Not sure how often yet, need to sorta sit down with Buzz and nut out a few details so hopefully we can do that soon.

I'm really glad to see some interest in us doing this. I have spoken to Buzz recently about thing and have nutted out a few details in regards to length and frequency. As soon as we have everything locked down we shall let you know.

However we do need a name for the podcast. It's going to be done by Buzz from Ausdroid (which you know Smile

) and myself from Techanist. Anyone got an ideas?

Hey Buzz, Lucas

I'm a big fan of podcasts, and there isn't too may aussie-based ones that cover android yet. I think the cnet pulse podcast covers android sometimes, but there's too much iphone news on there for me to listen on a regular basis.

So perhaps the format for the show could include a round-up of Android activity in Australia, any plan/phone deals going on the carriers, and anything else noteworthy about the smartphone market in Oz?
