Cant add more than 10 contacts for SMS

Hello all, Ive just received my new Galaxy S yesterday and I must say I am pretty thrilled. However I cannot send the same text message to all of my contacts. When I go above 10 it says it cant send to more than 10 contacts.

Is this problem related to

1. Samsung ?
2. Android ?
3. Or my Mobile Carrier....which is Optus.

nothing to do with Optus or Samsung, it's a limitation in Android 2.1 that is set by default, the link below should have all the answers to fix this problem:

Edit: Seems my SMS limitation is set at 200 and 20 for MMS by default...... damn! lol

Edit : The message conversation limit was still set at 200..but alas..I can only send 10 still. Ive downloaded Chomp SMS and that seems to have done the trick. However it would have been nice if Android let you send more than 10 at a time.

Just chech that this is the fix you are looking for.

What Ilzy is describing is the amount of text messages kept in one conversation before they start being erased not how many recipients you can send to at once.

It seems the only way to get around this at present is to use Handcent.
