you should able to get a little less than 3.2 km of an exchange 10000kps now. Therefore, should disappear. TPG goes slow for me too, although they provide a lot of maintenance, so you better check if you are working in your area and you can solve the problem.

I had cable at my old place and it was great!
The thing I loved most (as a gamer) is the low latency. I'm on wireless now because there's no decent infrastructure at my house. I get about 12Mbps downstream and 1Mbps up stable speed, I've had burst speeds up to 35Mbps which is great. Day to day, either are very good but I'd still choose cable given the choice. ![]() Twitter | Email

I was thinking of doing that, but if I can get much greater speeds from Cable, I'd prefer that.
