Just wondering if anyone here has Cable Internetz or if they have previously used it.

I currently have ADSL2+ with TPG, but it keeps getting slower & slower. I've gone from 9Mbit to 5Mbit over the course of 2 years.

Any input is appreciated Big Grin

hi
just spotted this too

Buzz, you do realise im a tpg dealer?
pm/email your details and i can escalate any issue directly to the dealer support team
no more calls to the helldesk

none of my clients have had issues and im just wondering more on your speed problems
what troubleshooting have you done and what hardware tweeks have you tried?
how are you measuring these speed stats?

RE: Cable Internet
you should able to get a little less than 3.2 km of an exchange 10000kps now. Therefore, should disappear. TPG goes slow for me too, although they provide a lot of maintenance, so you better check if you are working in your area and you can solve the problem.

RE: Cable Internet
I had cable at my old place and it was great!
The thing I loved most (as a gamer) is the low latency.

I'm on wireless now because there's no decent infrastructure at my house.
I get about 12Mbps downstream and 1Mbps up stable speed, I've had burst speeds up to 35Mbps which is great.
Day to day, either are very good but I'd still choose cable given the choice.

RE: Cable Internet
I was thinking of doing that, but if I can get much greater speeds from Cable, I'd prefer that.
