RE: Eclair for the X10!
good to see this is not just for the UK Big Grin

still looks like no SD storage for apps, unless another update to 2.2 comes anytime soon or even at all..... my guess is it'll probably stop at 2.1 for the X10 series and begin with 2.2 for the gaming handset SE have announced.

RE: Eclair for the X10!
Well 2.1 _is_ the end for the X10 Mini Series. As for the Xperia X10, I believe it can be updated to 2.2 and then have the gaming handset start at 3.0

RE: Eclair for the X10!
I'm just curious to if there is a higher version than 2.1 Eclair for the X10 mini pro as from what I see all the custom roms are based on 2.1.At this point it may seem strange to push out a 2.1 upgrade when many other devices are already being updated with Android 2.2 'Froyo,' however customers should bear in mind that carriers aren't simply releasing stock builds of the open-source operating system. Rather, they need to tailor their ROMs with carrier-specific applications that require weeks or months of testing and basically ensure a lag between upgrade plans and an actual release.
