Well, I did it! Took me f'ages, though, cos I was trying to be thorough and make sure I didn't miss anything. Seems to be working all good. I found that when I went to restore all my backups in Titanium Backup, I had the option to select which apps I wanted to reload...I just skipped all the Telstra ones and now they ain't there anymore!! Nice. Still got the splash, though...

Congrats Ghengis. Did you just ROOT or did you install a ROM as well?

Installed the T-Mod 1.8 ROM as well as the Blue Batery C thingy...which I actually don't really like and am trying to find out how to remove.

Aside from that, works great!

Do a full back up (especially a nandroid backup) and then re-install the T-Mod 1.8 Rom.
This will restore the battery icon back to standard.

U will have to rom the desire to get rid of the Bigpond and telstra crap, I have just done mine and its all gone except for the Telstra boot screen but I believe that can be removed as well whch I am now researching
