Skype now available for Android
This just in over at the Skype Blog: Skype for Android is now available.
More details from The Skype Garage It was tested on HTC and Motorola devices. They are aware of problems with the Samsung Galaxy S. Nevertheless, I still downloaded it to my Galaxy S so it will automatically alert me about updates. I couldn't even login with it yet but I hope they'll address this soon, as they say on the blog post. Update: It's been reported that it works on Samsung Galaxy S with 2.2, here is a thread with such reports: http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtop...&p=3054903 |

RE: Skype now available for Android
Yeah I've used it.
No video call, but the sound quality (to the UK) was superb - far superior to my netbook's. The lag was noticable (0.5->1 sec) but manageable considering the distance. |

RE: Skype now available for Android
I've checked that, and indeed, it's available for some android phones, but it seems not available for all. I check this from the official website some times ago.
