adb issues - pushing bootanimation.zip
hey guys,
just wondering if anyone has had issues with pushing things to their handset using adb. when running the ( adb remount ) command i get a operation not permitted error. I have tried numerous things suggested on xda but still no result. I have Rooted my Desire HD and also S-OFF and have also flashed with ClockworkMod recovery test image and they all rang without issues and all work. I have SuperUser access and have re confirmed that after all the Rooting and flashing. But i still get this error. Any ideas? Cheers ![]() Phones: Sony Ericsson K750i > Nokia N95 > iPhone 2G > iPhone 3GS > iPhone 4 > HTC Desire HD |

RE: adb issues - pushing bootanimation.zip
There's a tool at XDA Devs that automates the process, by an Australian developer, no less. I am not sure if it's device centric though, I don't think it is. Have used it myself for boot animation and boot splash, but not flashed recovery through it
