LiveView
Just received my SE LiveView (after a 3+ week wait) from Clove. Very unimpressed with Clove's ability to package a semi-precious product that's to be shipped internationally (see pic). Despite the ruined packaging and fact the LiveView itself had fallen out of the packaging it does work, phew. Managed to set it up with my Huawei IDEOS u8150 (which isn't listed as officially supported by SE...I think that support list came out after I made the purchase). Only major problem with setup was the bit where the LiveView is supposed to push an Intent to the u8150 to open Market to the LiveView App install page, just did it manually then went through the setup within the App and got it going Big Grin

Anyways, given the wrist strap is a bit bulky and has not-the-most-trustworthy velcro, I popped into a watch shop this arvo and picked up a proper leather wrist band. Stylin! (see pic) Although the LiveView is a bit chunky andprobably not water resistant at all I can tell its going to be really useful, especially since trams are getting more and more crowded I can now canvas RSS feeds, Tweets, emails, SMSs all from the watch. At the bottom of each RSS item and Tweets you can access a feature that sends an Intent to your phone opening the web browser to the item/tweet for easier reading and/or actioning.

The vibration feature would surely be of use to those with loud music playing a lot or deaf people.

The LiveView has been discounted to around $80AUD, which hurtz coz 3 weeks ago it was $120AUD Sad
