Everything works fine but one thing i cant seem to get is optus internet. i was wondering what im not doing right. this is my first android phone. i have already enabled the mobile network in the settings and played around with them but still nothing works. do i need to contact optus or does it just not work with the optus network also my desire hd is a a1919 model |

RE: HTC desire hd optus internet not working on phone
Hey, it should work, I would take it into optus to get them to have a look at the apn settings, this phone should really be great on the optus network, much better than the original network it was sold on!

RE: HTC desire hd optus internet not working on phone
hi guys
I was having the same problem on my new HTC Desire HD (unlocked and new) with a Optus SIM. After speaking to tech support a few times and they were helping these are the settings that now make my phone's data plan/internet work fine. Code: Name: "Optus yes"The MOST important part of it is APN type: "default" Optus was telling me to set this to "internet". Once I put this to I hope this helps |

I hope this helps in your case.

I actually purchased it from ShoppingSquare.com which is under Apus Corp. I understand that the unit came from HongKong hence the default language was Chinese. In fact, it only took 3 days for delivery which was really good. I have now returned the item back to them as they will investigate if the phone was faulty. I still believe that the phone is indeed locked since I also tried another Telstra sim card which also was not recognised. Would you know if anyone could unlock it if they're tech support claims they couldn't fix it. |
